Shaquita Taylor-Felder, 44, died following a police pursuit that ended in a crash in Baytown on Tuesday evening. Police had attempted to arrest Taylor-Felder near the H-E-B Grocery store on Garth Road due to an outstanding aggravated assault warrant.
After refusing to stop, Taylor-Felder led law enforcement on a high-speed chase through Baytown and Channelview, continuing west on Interstate 10. The pursuit ended when she crashed her vehicle into a ditch. Further details of the crash were not immediately released.
