Taja Griggs, 26, has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting that took place in Pittsburgh’s Perry South neighborhood last month. Authorities confirmed she was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
The incident occurred on January 18 along the 100 block of Hawkins Avenue. Pittsburgh police responded to reports of a shooting around 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Griggs unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of February 8, no arrests have been made in connection to the case. The investigation remains ongoing, with the Mobile Crime Unit and the Violent Crime Unit working to gather evidence and identify those responsible.
