Fatal San Antonio wrong-way crash death of Thomas Cuellar – Obituary
Authorities have identified 43-year-old Thomas Cuellar as one of the two drivers who lost their lives in a wrong-way collision in San Antonio.
The crash occurred early Sunday morning, January 26, around 5:05 AM near the intersection of US Highway 90 and Southwest Loop 410. According to officials, a black pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 90 when it collided head-on with a gray SUV.
Both drivers were killed in the impact. The wrong-way driver was described as a man in his 40s, while the other victim was in his 30s. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Cuellar succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
Law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the deadly accident.
