Anthony Green, 37, tragically died after being struck by a vehicle that veered onto the sidewalk in the 2300 block of Chamberlayne Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, on February 4.
The driver lost control, hitting the pedestrian and then colliding with a nearby structure. The vehicle continued, striking an unoccupied car before coming to a stop.
Green was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, along with a female passenger, were both hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
This incident led to a temporary closure of both lanes on Chamberlayne Avenue while authorities conducted their investigation.
No charges have been filed at this time, and Richmond Police are seeking any information that might help their ongoing investigation.
