Fatal Jackson County car crash death of Jefferson Acosta – Obituary

A tragic accident claimed the life of 33-year-old Jefferson Acosta in Jackson County on Saturday night.

 

The crash took place shortly before 10 p.m. on Alabama 40. Acosta was behind the wheel of a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe when the vehicle veered off the road, collided with a tree, and overturned. Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
