Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run that took the life of 15-year-old Kaden Schwartz in San Benito.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Schwartz was riding his bicycle when he was struck from behind by a vehicle that fled the scene without stopping.
Investigators believe the suspect was driving a Ford F-250 or a larger pickup truck, model years between 2023 and 2025. The vehicle may have chrome detailing and damage to the front right side.
