Fatal Henry County single-vehicle crash death of Michelle Moore – Obituary
Michelle Moore, a 50-year-old resident of Winfield, Iowa, lost her life in a tragic accident early Saturday morning on Highway 78 in Henry County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Moore was driving eastbound in a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup near mile marker 41 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the road. The truck came to a stop and subsequently caught fire. Emergency responders pronounced Moore dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Winfield Fire Department, and the Henry County Medical Examiner in their response.
Moore’s passing leaves a deep impact on her community, as friends and family mourn the loss of a life taken too soon.
