Fatal Springfield stabbing death of Phillip Farley – Obituary
Phillip Farley, a 45-year-old man, was found fatally stabbed on Sunday night in Springfield, Missouri.
Springfield police responded around 9 p.m. to reports of a man lying on the ground on W. College Street between Kansas Expressway and North Fort Avenue. Officers discovered Farley with multiple stab wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified any suspects. This incident marks Springfield’s second homicide of the year.
