Ricardo L. Steele dies in fatal Birmingham interstate crash
Fatal Birmingham interstate crash death of Ricardo L. Steele – Obituary
Ricardo L. Steele, a 71-year-old Birmingham resident, lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 59 South near Chalkville Road over the weekend.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Steele was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the collision, which occurred around 10:32 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 11:14 a.m.
State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
