Authorities have identified 67-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez as the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred on Friday. The Clark County coroner’s office confirmed that Rodriguez died from “sharp force injuries,” ruling his death a homicide.
Las Vegas police responded to reports of a stabbing early Friday afternoon in a wash area near Renaissance Drive, close to Tropicana Avenue and Eastern Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Rodriguez suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police believe Rodriguez was homeless at the time of the incident. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not yet released any details regarding possible suspects.
