Fatal Kent shooting death of Elijah J. Oceguera Bestgen – Obituary

Authorities have identified 24-year-old Elijah J. Oceguera Bestgen as the victim of a fatal shooting in a wooded area along Lake Fenwick Road South in Kent.

 

On the morning of February 7, Kent Police responded to a call about a deceased individual near the Lake Fenwick Disc Golf Park. Upon arrival at 26113 Lake Fenwick Road S., officers discovered Oceguera Bestgen with a gunshot wound to the head. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed his death as a homicide, estimating that he had died the night before or early that morning.

 

Detectives are working to determine the events leading up to the killing. As of February 10, no arrests had been made, and authorities had not released any suspect information.
