Fatal Bessemer house fire death of Glover Mayweather – Obituary

Authorities have identified the victim of a tragic house fire in Bessemer, Alabama, as 70-year-old Glover Mayweather. The fire broke out early Tuesday morning on the 1500 block of 12th Avenue North.

 

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Bessemer Fire and Rescue responded to the blaze at approximately 12:14 a.m. Once the flames were brought under control, firefighters discovered Mayweather’s body inside the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
