Johnny Huckabee dies in fatal Spartanburg County car crash

Fatal Spartanburg County car crash death of Johnny Huckabee – Obituary

A head-on collision early Monday morning in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, resulted in the death of 77-year-old Johnny Huckabee of Roebuck.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), the crash occurred around 8:14 a.m. when a Chevrolet sedan and a Chevrolet pickup truck were traveling north on South Church Street (U.S. 221).

The vehicles collided, causing the pickup truck to veer across the centerline, where it struck a Honda sedan head-on near Becknell Street. The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver and passenger in the Honda sedan were taken to a hospital for treatment. The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office confirmed Huckabee’s identity. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
