Fatal Portsmouth, New Hampshire car crash death of Judd Reed – Obituary
Authorities have identified 70-year-old Judd Reed of Eliot, Maine, as the victim of a deadly two-vehicle crash in Portsmouth on Saturday.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Lafayette Road and Mirona Road, prompting road closures for several hours. According to police, Reed was driving a Dodge 1500 pickup truck when it collided with the rear of a Toyota Camry.
Reed suffered fatal injuries and was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the Camry sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at the hospital.
Investigators do not believe alcohol or reckless driving played a role in the crash, but the cause remains under investigation.
