Fatal Woodland Hills shooting death of Sah-Dell Roberts – Obituary

A 16-year-old boy, Sah-Dell Roberts, lost his life in a shooting outside a Woodland Hills house party that also left six others injured.

 

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 5900 block of Winnetka Avenue, just north of the Ventura (101) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

 

Authorities reported that the suspect had been involved in a dispute with multiple individuals inside the house. As security escorted him out, he opened fire on a crowd gathered outside before fleeing the scene.

 

The gathering, described as a “flyer party,” reportedly drew as many as 300 attendees, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

 

Sah-Dell Roberts was found in the driveway and pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The injured victims were transported to a hospital, though their injuries were not life-threatening.

 

Police have yet to release any details regarding the suspect.
