According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at S.R. 37 and Barnett Road around 11:35 a.m. on Friday following reports of the accident. The coroner’s office ruled the deaths as accidental, marking them as the fifth and sixth traffic fatalities in the county for the year.
