14-year-old Julian Corniell has been identified as the victim of a deadly stabbing in Sunnyside, Queens.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. outside a McDonald’s when a group fight escalated, leading to Corniell being stabbed in the abdomen.
He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have arrested one individual, and investigators discovered a steak knife at the scene.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene involving several children, some wearing ski masks, engaging in the altercation after school. Police are continuing to search for surveillance footage of the attackers.
