Fatal Augusta motorcycle crash death of Daniel Paul Doyle – Obituary

Daniel Paul Doyle, a 60-year-old motorcyclist, was killed in a crash late Tuesday night in Augusta, Georgia.

 

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Bobby Jones Expressway, between Laney Walker and Doug Barnard. Authorities found Doyle lying in the grassy median on the eastbound side of the expressway after he lost control of his motorcycle while traveling west.

 

He was pronounced dead on the scene at midnight, according to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
