Fatal Sacramento County car crash death of Brennan Mendoza – Obituary
Authorities have identified 16-year-old Brennan Mendoza of Lodi as the victim of a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night in Sacramento County.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on Twin Cities Road, west of Alta Mesa Road in Herald, shortly after 7 p.m. Officials reported that the vehicle had collided with a tree. Mendoza, who was behind the wheel, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol has not yet determined the cause of the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
