Shawn Paul, aged 53, tragically lost his life in a house fire on Thursday afternoon, March 6, in north Springfield.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reported that emergency crews discovered Paul’s body after extinguishing the flames. Authorities have since labeled the fire as suspicious, and investigations are ongoing at the scene.
The fire occurred in a residential neighborhood off N. Farm Road 151, near Hillcrest High School. Multiple fire departments responded to the incident, and local authorities are working to determine the cause.
