Authorities in North Las Vegas have confirmed that Angel Estrada-Esquibia, 30, and Jose Rodriguez Estrada, 70, lost their lives in a devastating crash involving a trash truck on Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. when a silver Infiniti lost control, veered over the center median, and collided with a Republic Services trash truck. The impact triggered a fire, engulfing both vehicles in flames.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but both individuals inside the Infiniti were pronounced dead on-site. The Clark County Coroner’s Office has yet to determine the exact cause and manner of their deaths.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
