Authorities in Jackson are investigating the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Jakendrick Bass, who was killed at Sunset Plaza Apartments last week.
Police responded to reports of gunfire around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at the apartment complex located in the 3500 block of Sunset Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Bass deceased in the parking lot.
Following an investigation, detectives identified 20-year-old Lamaja Henderson as a suspect in the case. An arrest warrant for Henderson on a murder charge was issued on Monday.
