Chicago police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred late Sunday night on the city’s South Side.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 11:49 p.m. in the 7600 block of Langley Avenue, where they discovered 25-year-old Keymani A. Davis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Davis was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time, and detectives from CPD Area Two are actively investigating the homicide.
