A man lost his life in a shooting that took place Wednesday evening in Cloverdale, and authorities are now searching for a suspect.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the Cloverdale Apartments area. Emergency responders transported the victim, identified as Deleatric Quarles, to Kings Daughters Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to Police Chief Kenneth Collins.
Assistant Police Chief Penny Banks confirmed that investigators are reviewing video footage as part of their ongoing efforts to identify and locate the suspect. The case remains under active invest igation.
