Four young individuals lost their lives in a high-speed crash involving a stolen vehicle in Cleveland, Ohio, early Wednesday morning. Authorities confirmed that Caurie Williams, 19, Kalise McGee, 14, Tamera Davis, 14, and Eddy Deandre Bonner, 18, were killed in the collision.
According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, Bonner was behind the wheel when the accident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on West 106th Street. Surveillance footage showed the stolen Hyundai Sonata being driven around the city the previous evening. Investigators reported that Bonner lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and crashed into two trees.
Neighbors called 911 after hearing the impact and discovering the victims. Emergency responders described the vehicle as being completely destroyed. The force of the crash ejected all three passengers, while the driver remained inside.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
