Authorities have identified the 21-year-old woman who lost her life in a crash in Bethlehem Township on Tuesday night.
According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Kelsey Anne Rodgers was driving east on Freemansburg Avenue between Wagner Drive and Farmersville Road when her vehicle veered across the double-yellow line. She sideswiped another car before crashing into a utility pole.
Rodgers succumbed to blunt force trauma, and her death was ruled accidental, as stated in the coroner’s report.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 29-year-old Bethlehem woman, was unharmed in the incident, police reported.
Following the crash, Freemansburg Avenue remained closed for approximately seven hours while authorities conducted their investigation and crews worked to repair the damaged u tility pole.
