Bruce Cleveland lost his life in a devastating barn fire last week in Potter County, Texas. The fire broke out on March 12 at approximately 2:20 p.m. at a property on Sagebrush Avenue and Bluebonnet Drive. Firefighters from Potter County Fire and Rescue arrived to find heavy smoke and flames consuming the structure.
The building, a 40-by-60-foot metal barndominium that housed both a residence and a shop, was engulfed in the fire when crews began their response. During their efforts to contain the blaze, firefighters discovered Cleveland deceased inside the structure.
Following an investigation, officials determined that the fire was accidental in nature. No further details on the cause have been released at this time.
