Dennis Vosika, 34, of Mankato, was fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning at a Kwik Trip on Madison Avenue. Authorities responded to the convenience store shortly after 3 a.m., where they found Vosika unresponsive with multiple stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead.
Mankato police reviewed surveillance footage and identified 28-year-old Michael Miller as the suspect. Miller was arrested without incident at his residence a short time later and now faces charges of second-degree murder.
The Mankato Department of Public Safety is working alongside the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Kwik Trip has announced temporary overnight closures at its local stores, with the company’s CEO expressing condolences and emphasizing a commitment to employee safety.
