Fatal Madera County car crash death of Graciela Rodriguez Urena – Obituary
Graciela Rodriguez Urena, 29, tragically lost her life in a single-car accident in Madera County. The crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday near Avenue 17 and Road 28 1/2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Urena was driving with her infant son in the backseat when, for reasons still unknown, her vehicle veered off the roadway. The car crashed into a barbed wire fence and a wooden post, which pierced through the windshield, fatally injuring her.
Her baby was transported to Valley Children’s Hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities noted that it was raining at the time, but it remains unclear if the weather contributed to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
