A man was fatally stabbed on Chicago’s Northwest Side, authorities reported.
Officers responded to an incident in the 3500 block of West Sunnyside Avenue around 7:53 p.m. on Tuesday, where they discovered Juan Carlos Tello-Suarez, 34, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Tello-Suarez was transported to a hospital but did not survive his injuries.
Investigators revealed that he had been engaged in an argument with another man before the attack. The suspect fled the scene, but police have detained a person of interest for questioning.
Area Five detectives are continuing the investigation.
