A 24-year-old man, James French, has been charged with the murder of 39-year-old John Birch, whose body was discovered on March 14 in a paddock at Glenorie, located in Sydney’s rural north-west. Birch was found under a tarp on a property in Gleness Place.
French, who had been evading capture, was arrested on Sunday after being found sleeping in a vehicle in the Hills District. He was subsequently charged with murder, denied bail, and appeared in court where his next hearing is scheduled for May.
