Fatal Nashville motel death of Joseph G. Williams – Obituary
Authorities in Nashville have identified the man discovered dead inside a local motel as 65-year-old Joseph G. Williams. Law enforcement officials suspect foul play in his death.
Williams had been staying at the Red Roof motel on Claridge Drive for several months before officers found him unresponsive on Friday. His body was located in the bathtub of his room, fully clothed, with dried blood visible on his face. Investigators also noted pieces of broken drywall inside the tub.
Metro Nashville Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Williams’ death, believing it to be suspicious.
