Fatal Berkeley County ATV crash death of Steward Simpson – Obituary
On March 22, 2025, 39-year-old Steward Simpson of Summerville tragically passed away following an ATV crash in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:05 p.m. on Highway 27 near Stonehenge Lane. According to authorities, Simpson was riding a Yamaha ATV heading south when it collided with a 2008 Honda CRV traveling in the opposite direction.
Simpson died at the scene, while the driver of the Honda CRV was taken to Trident Medical Center for treatment. The condition of the CRV driver has not been disclosed. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
