A deadly shooting took place late Saturday night in LaGrange, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Zymerious Cofield. The LaGrange Police Department responded to a call around 10:50 p.m. on Mason Street, where they found Cofield suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts and transportation to the hospital, Cofield later passed away from his injuries.
Investigations revealed that the shooting occurred during an altercation with 22-year-old Dewan Harden Jr., who was arrested and is currently facing murder charges.
