Fatal Fort Wayne shooting death of Angela Marie Cobb – Obituary
Authorities have identified Angela Marie Cobb, a 52-year-old Fort Wayne resident, as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday evening on the city’s south side.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled Cobb’s death a homicide, marking the tenth such case in the county this year.
Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Cobb lying in the street with gunshot wounds. Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Investigators later arrested 53-year-old Michael T. Miles in connection with the shooting.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
