Fatal Boyle Heights collision death of Anthony Medina – Obituary
Anthony Medina, 26, tragically died in a fiery car crash early Saturday morning in Boyle Heights. The collision occurred at 12:13 a.m. near 513 N. Brittania St., close to the intersection of Cesar Chavez Avenue and the Santa Monica (10) and Santa Ana (5) freeways.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. Medina was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner confirmed that Medina died from blunt force trauma and burn injuries.
