Fatal Fresno County head-on crash death of Blain Chandler – Obituary
Blain Chandler, a 13-year-old boy from Visalia, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on Manning Avenue in Fresno County on March 18, 2025. The crash occurred when Chandler’s Honda crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming big rig.
Despite efforts to identify the driver initially, Chandler was later confirmed as the victim. The semi-truck’s driver, a 24-year-old woman, suffered only minor injuries.
The crash also ignited a two-acre grass fire, which was quickly controlled by Cal Fire crews. The circumstances leading to Chandler’s driving and how he obtained the car remain unclear, as the incident is under investigation.
