Fatal Hagerstown scooter collision death of Brandon Garrison – Obituary
Brandon Garrison, 36, of Hagerstown, tragically passed away on Tuesday morning after his electric scooter collided with a Jeep SUV on Longmeadow Road north of the city. The accident occurred around 6:45 a.m. near Cambridge Drive, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the blue Jeep Compass was not injured in the collision, and authorities report that both vehicles were traveling west on Longmeadow Road when the crash occurred. Garrison was transported to Meritus Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
The sheriff’s office has launched an investigation into the cause of the incident, with the crash reconstruction team leading the efforts. Witnesses are encouraged to come forward and contact Master Deputy Keyser at 240-313-2878.
