Christopher Soto, 22, tragically died following a collision between an e-scooter and a Toyota Corolla in the southwest Las Vegas Valley on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred around 4:20 p.m. near the intersection of West Warm Springs Road and South Torrey Pines Drive. Soto and a 14-year-old boy were riding the e-scooters when they collided with the car’s left front and rear fenders.
Both Soto and the boy were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Soto later succumbed to his injuries. The boy was reported to have suffered critical injuries, though no further updates on his condition were provided. The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene, and authorities do not suspect impairment. The incident is under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
