Fatal Philadelphia murder death of Jordan Baxter – Obituary

Jordan Baxter, 38, was tragically killed in the Andorra section of Philadelphia, allegedly by his wife, Danielle Baxter, 39. His lifeless body was discovered on a plastic sheet outside their home in the 800 block of Bells Mill Road.

Police were called to the residence early on Wednesday morning after a report of a person screaming, only to find Jordan’s body with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Blood was also found inside the house, and a gun was discovered resting on his chest.

The couple, described by neighbors as a friendly family with three children, shocked the local community. Many neighbors, including one who could not believe she didn’t hear any gunshots, expressed their disbelief at the tragic event. Danielle was arrested the following day and now faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

Jordan had worked as a SEPTA engineer for 14 years, and the agency expressed its sorrow at his loss. Danielle’s motive for the murder is still unclear, and she is expected to appear in court in the coming weeks for additional hearings.
