Fatal Charleston homicide death of Everette Lee Stover – Obituary
Everette Lee Stover, 67, was found dead on March 4, 2025, in the backyard of a vacant property at 66 1/2 Lee Street in Charleston. The skeletal remains were discovered by the property owner during a routine visit. Police have determined that Stover died after October 1, 2024, and was the victim of a violent assault.
Investigators are now seeking leads in the case, describing the attack as “brutal and senseless.” Authorities are particularly looking to speak with three individuals known to have been in contact with Stover before his death.
