Galdino Moran, a 56-year-old man from Syracuse, tragically lost his life on Sunday night, March 23, 2025, after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident. The accident occurred around 10:23 p.m. at the intersection of Butternut and Griffiths streets.
Police say the driver fled the scene, leaving Moran dead at the location. Moran, who lived nearby on Griffiths Street, was a local resident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Traffic Division.
