Ian Harvey, 25, of East Peoria, tragically died in a multi-vehicle accident on March 22, 2025. The crash occurred at the intersection of North University and West Hudson streets when an unlicensed juvenile driver failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with Harvey’s motorcycle.
After being thrown from his bike, Harvey was struck by a third vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries. Illinois State Police continue to investigate the incident, and a toxicology test is pending.
