Jessica Ledesma Sotelo, a 22-year-old woman from Delano, tragically lost her life in a crash on Monday morning in McFarland. The Kern County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Sotelo was the driver involved in the incident at Stradley Avenue and Peterson Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Sotelo failed to stop at a stop sign while heading south on Stradley Avenue, resulting in a collision with a dump truck at Peterson Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
