Fatal San Antonio police shooting death of Max Dominguez – Obituary
Max Dominguez, a 27-year-old man, was fatally shot by a San Antonio police officer on Sunday, March 23, 2025, after reportedly assaulting his girlfriend with a machete inside a West Side home. Officers arrived around 2:15 p.m. at the residence in the 6500 block of Tahoka Blvd in response to a 911 call about the ongoing assault. When police attempted to enter the home, Dominguez resisted, eventually grabbing a machete and threatening officers. In response, an officer fired multiple shots, striking Dominguez.
He was transported to the hospital but later died around 3:30 p.m. Police are conducting investigations into the incident, and Dominguez’s criminal history includes prior violent offenses. The condition of the girlfriend has not been disclosed.
