Fatal downtown Los Angeles shooting death of Porfirio Guzman Perdomo – Obituary
Authorities have identified Porfirio Guzman Perdomo as the victim of a deadly shooting that took place in downtown Los Angeles.
Perdomo, who was experiencing homelessness, was found deceased on a sidewalk, as confirmed by the county medical examiner.
Police responded around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Fifth and San Pedro streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered Perdomo suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting.
