Fatal Brockton shooting deaths of Tymari Albertson and Cevannah Alvarez – Obituary
Authorities have identified the two teenagers who were fatally shot Saturday night at the Westgate Mall in Brockton as 15-year-old Tymari Albertson and 18-year-old Cevannah Alvarez.
According to Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz, officers were called to the mall around 7 p.m. after reports of a fight involving several teenagers in the parking lot near Starbucks and Chipotle.
Both Albertson and Alvarez suffered gunshot wounds and did not survive.
Investigators have identified 22-year-old Davinci Leonard as the suspect in the shooting. He has been charged with two counts of murder, among other charges.
Brockton authorities, along with state police detectives, continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
