Authorities have identified the driver who died in a crash involving an NEISD school bus on Tuesday evening as 70-year-old Christopher Tutt. The collision happened just after 5 p.m. along the 2400 block of Northeast Loop 410 near Starcrest Drive.
According to police, Tutt’s sedan rear-ended the school bus. Witnesses described seeing the vehicle lodged beneath the bus, with severe damage to the windshield. The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tutt’s identity but has not yet released an official cause of death.
