Fatal Woodlawn Lake accidental drowning death of Delilah Jimenez – Obituary
Authorities have identified the woman who was found deceased at Woodlawn Lake as 61-year-old Delilah Jimenez. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled her death an accidental drowning.
Jimenez was discovered on Tuesday morning after a jogger spotted an object in the water and called 911. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and she was pronounced dead at 8:50 a.m.
Officials believe Jimenez had been in the lake for an extended period before being found. No foul play is suspected at this time.
