Fatal Security-Widefield, Colorado homicide death of Miguel Ramirez Quiroz – Obituary
Miguel Ramirez Quiroz, a 24-year-old man, was found dead in a vehicle on March 24, 2025, in the Security-Widefield area of El Paso County. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 5:45 a.m. and attempted lifesaving measures, but Quiroz was pronounced dead.
Authorities later arrested 29-year-old Miguel Angel Garcia Hernandez in connection with the homicide. Garcia Hernandez faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, felony menacing, and false imprisonment. He is being held without bond, and immigration officials confirmed that he was in the country illegally. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to seek information from the public.
